2020 – present

In the fall of 2020, stuck at home during the height of the Covid-19 lockdown, I picked up a Fujifilm XT-3 camera and began taking photographs. Since then I’ve continued to refine my skills, taking classes at the International Center of Photography in New York and finding as many ways to work it into my regular activities.

People are one of my favorite photographic subjects. Here are a selection of my favorite portraits.

State Senate

2022

In the winter of 2022 I began volunteering for the David Alexis for state senate campaign. David is a Democratic candidate running to represent the 21st district, which mostly comprises Flatbush. I became embedded in the campaign, taking many documentary photographs of David, his family, and campaign staff as they worked to get him elected.
