2020 – present

I started shooting pictures with a DSLR camera in 2020. In the following years, I continued to refine my skills by taking classes at New York’s International Center of Photography (ICP). Since then I’ve enjoyed working on a number of portrait and documentary projects.

People are one of my favorite photographic subjects. I’ve taken a number of professional portraits of therapists and psychoanalysts since beginning my own training in 2023.

State Senate

2022

In the winter of 2022 I began volunteering for the (ultimately unsuccessful) campaign to elect David Alexis for state senate. David was a Democratic candidate running to represent the 21st district, which mostly comprises Flatbush. I became embedded in the campaign, taking many documentary photographs of David, his family, and campaign staff as they worked to get him elected.
